For Bare Areas:

  1. Rake the area to form grooves.
  2. Lightly sprinkle the seed over the area at a rate of 12-15 lbs/acre.
  3. Lightly rake over the area to ensure proper soil/seed contact.
  4. Keep lightly watered for 4-6 weeks.

On Existing Grass:

  1. Use a non-selective herbicide to eliminate any grass or weed cover.
  2. Scarify the area with a rake or tine harrow to expose the surface.
  3. Lightly sprinkle the seed over the area at a rate of 12-15 lbs/acre.
  4. Lightly rake over the area or use a tine harrow to ensure proper soil/seed contact.
  5. Keep lightly watered for 4-6 weeks.
